Hi! We’re Susie and Rishone from Musicality Central

Two Buffalo based dancers who know that ANYONE can learn how to dance in the right atmosphere.

Where should You start?

- I have never danced before but I want to start -

If you’re ready to take your dance skills to the next level, Funky Foundations is for you. James will be breaking down the fundamentals of different styles each month.

This class is geared towards new movers who want to learn the fundamentals of hip hop and other street styles. It is also a great class for experienced dancers who want to hone in and perfect their technique.

You can sign up for individual drop in classes OR register for the full session to make the most of your learning experience in that month’s style and to save some 💲

This Choreography class is absolutely for beginners. We know how it feels to want to dance so badly but feel like you can’t keep up in a choreography class.

So we have created Choreo 101 – A class where you learn BEGINNER Choreography at a BEGINNER’S pace.

Susie and Rishone take time to dissect the movement on a granular level, meaning no dance experience is required for this class. Come as you are and we’ll teach you how to move! Choreo 101

This is our hip hop workout class dedicated to fitness training. It is a combination of energetic hip hop music and hip hop dance moves that allows you to actually enjoy an hour of exercise related to past/current hip hop music. This class is co-taught between Susie and Rishone.

- I danced when I was younger and want to get back into it -

This class is geared towards dancers who have experience in hip hop and learning choreography.

Depending on the routine, we’ll flow in and out of different styles such as Hip Hop, House, Waacking, Popping, Dancehall, and more!

This class is meant to challenge dancers with more layers within the movement, musicality, and physicality.

We offer monthly workshops in various styles including Hip Hop, Dancehall, Dancehall Fusion, and Burlesque Infused Hip Hop. These workshops are for you if you have prior dance experience and are looking for a challenge!

- I want a fun way to be active and workout-

This is our dance workout class dedicated to fitness training. It is a combination of energetic hip hop music and hip hop dance moves that allows you to actually enjoy an hour of exercise related to past/current hip hop and pop music. This class is co-taught between Susie and Rishone.

I had no idea how to learn choreography. As someone who naturally moved to music, I had no idea there was an organized way to learn dance. I remember struggling to remember the moves and transitions within a piece. It was like my brain wasn’t communicating with my body or I was uncoordinated AF. It […]

Loving people while they’re here Have you ever attended a funeral or memorial service and thought to yourself, “what a beautiful tribute to such an incredible person… If only they were here to see it.” Unfortunately as we continue to get older, death more increasingly becomes such an apparent and inevitable part of life. Story Time with Rishone – Do a little, Change a lot.

I remember 20 years ago, I was in the best shape of my life. I had been living with my mom on the forgotten borough of hilly Staten Island, New York for 2 years after withdrawing from the pre-med program at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. I could run 6 to 8 miles at 4am in the […]

I wake up every day looking forward to doing something the wrong way. I know that may sound abnormal to you but I get anxiously excited to know that I didn’t get something right the first time or the 10th time I tried it. Why? because I have become more accommodating emotionally with the journey […]

What Our Clients say

Susie and Rishone are some of the best and most talented people you could ever meet. They also attract awesome people to their classes. I always leave on such a high and in such a good headspace. Treat yourself to such good vibes and dancing with these class act people!

Vilona Trachtenberg

Rishone and Susie are both incredibly talented, but what sets them apart from most artists is their ability to teach! These two are connected to the music, which makes for an amazing experience. I highly recommend taking any one of their classes- it'll be good for your soul, trust me.

Lisa Bavisotto

Susie & Rishone consistently strive to be better teachers and show a sincere interest in their clients progress. They are always willing to lend their support and guidance to those who need it, and are consistent in their positive attitudes. Their classes are organized in a thoughtful way, and alway incorporate new ideas and approaches. They continuously strive to improve themselves AND their clients through living by example. They talk the talk and walk the walk. Highly recommend!

Jess Moore

Being new to the area, I didn’t know anyone but decided to attend dance class with Musicality Central. Everyone was so welcoming and it felt like “dance home” instantly. Not only are Susie and Rishone talented dancers but they’re life motivators, challenging their students every class. Thank you both for creating an open, comfortable and family-like environment.
